Update

Hey everyone!

So for the delay. It seems that since Chloe is just like a normal baby now, there's not much to update. She's doing absolutely wonderful and is progressing normally.

Sunday night, I was holding her blowing in her neck. And while I would blow, I would shake my head. She would just laugh. It was the cutest thing! She's all the time holding her foot. And watch out! She'll claw you if she gets the chance.

She's beautiful and sings along with you! We can't express how thank ful we are for all the prays and anything else!

If you have donated to the Chloe Fund: thank you so very much. Every little bit helps. She will now undergo therapy which will help her alot.

As always, thank you thank you thank you!

Still our little Miracle baby!

The Aunt,
Tiffany

Hey, what's up Doc?

Hey guys!
Chloe went to Vanderbilt today to the surgeon to see how she was doing. Jeremy says that when the doctor first looked at her he was SO amazed that she was moving her right side!! Then they started talking about her seizures. The doctor asked, "how has her seizure activity been? Has it become milder than before?" And Jeremy replied, "What seizures? She hasn't had one since December 5th."

Hahaha.. He was completely shocked then! So, he said he never wanted to see Chloe again as a patient. She didn't need him anymore! She's doing absolutely amazing!!! He's totally amazed how well she is. He said he expected some good results, but Chloe has given him outstanding results.

He did say that anytime they're at Vanderbilt for anything, they better bring Chloe by so he can see this "miracle"...

Thank you Jesus!
WE LOVE YOU!

Chloe's First Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone and Happy New Year!

Just wanted to update you guys about Chloe. It was her first Christmas and, of course, she was the center of attention. Grandpa started new traditions this year to get Chloe ready for a Christ centered Christmases to come!
Chloe got a walker and loved sitting in it after we opened our gifts. Here's a picture:

I'm still trying to get the paypal set up on this site. We thank each and everyone who has donated their time, money, and everything else to our family. Chloe returns to the doctor at Janurary and we're praying for a perfect report! Please continue to keep her and the family in your prayers.

PICTURES

Ok.
I'm going to try it this way. I will put these pictures in the order they were taken. Now, please be aware that they may be upsetting to see. You can not hold me responsible if you cry or get sad. (: Just keep in mind that she's totally better now! Thanks.

At home before hospital stay:

Weekend before her surgery:
(At this time, she was having at least 35 seizures a day. The surgeron told us that if she didn't have the surgery right away, that she may have one and it would be fatal.)

The morning of her surgery, Jeremy couldn't stop crying. He was constantly praying and his tears were flowing. It's hard seeing my brother that way. But, he got better after the first phone call that said she was doing great in the surgery.

The night after her left hemispherectomy at 10:30pm:

After I saw her like this, I went out where no one could see me and I cried harder than I've cried over Chloe. Jeremy was so strong this night. He came and hugged me and told me it was ok. God brought her through the surgery and she was going to be fine. You just don't know how something like that will effect you.

Day 2:
Poor baby is so swollen. They had to place this wash cloth by her mouth because she kept throwing up. She's so precious.

Day 3:
What a difference a day makes!

Day 4:
She's getting a bath by her mommy. Here are the best pictures I could do of her incision. Note that she has a bubble on the left side of her head. It has gone down now and looks really good!

Day 5:
First time she looks at the camera!!

Long time coming update!

Hello everyone!

First let me apologize for the delay in this update. Things around here have been so crazy. But, it's better now and Chloe is doing so great! It's like God has given us a new baby!

For my myspace friends who have seen her pictures on there. Look in her eyes. Is there ever a picture where she's looking at the camera? Is there ever a picture where she looks like she's with us and not a veggietable? I don't think so. Dominique doesn't think so. Now check out this picture!

Photobucket

Here she is with her Daddy looking right at the camera! This was on thanksgiving. We're so excited! She laughs. She coos. (spelling) She holds our fingers with both hands. She's truly a miracle!

We're still praying for her full recovery. I'm working on getting these pictures on here.. So bare with me please!

Love you guys!
Thanks!

We're Going Home!!

Hello everyone!
I'm so excited to report today that we are going home! Chloe is doing great and they said that there is no reason why she has to stay her another night! So, get out! I'm kidding. They're not like that here. Maybe Erlanger. I don't know.
Well, I left on saturday night and came back last night, monday, and she's still cuter than ever. She's been eating by mouth and taking her medicines by mouth which she's not that happy about that. There is one medicine that she doesn't like at all. So, it's like pulling teeth to get her to take it. But, its one of the most important ones, so lets pray that her taste buds go numb so she can take all of it. Haha Just while she's having to take that. I don't want her taste buds to go numb all the time.
So, it's about 3:30p Nashville time and they haven't really told us when we're going to be going. We just know that it is today. So, thank you guys again for the prayers. We could never thank you enough. We love each and everyone of you! Soon I'll have pictures to share. I promise!
